Description / 3mm 6v Pre-Wired Blue LED - Ultra Bright (4v, 5v, 6v)
The 3mm 6V Pre-Wired Blue LED ships ready to install with Approximately 15cm (6 inches) leads and a built-in current-limiting resistor. Connect directly to USB power bank (5V), 4×AA battery pack (6V), Lemax Christmas village adapter (4.5V), Arduino 5V pin, or Raspberry Pi GPIO — no resistor calculation and no extra components needed. A crisp blue for accent lighting, cosplay prop effects, and arduino/maker project indicators.
Blue is the go-to accent color for cosplay armor, sci-fi props, and modern electronics builds. Also used for aquarium moonlighting effects.
The 3mm (T-1) head is the smallest standard DIP size — scales realistically at HO (1:87) and N (1:160) scale. Small enough to hide inside model structures, dollhouses, and tight enclosures. Fits all standard 3mm LED holders and bezels.

Note: Department 56 village accessories use 2.5–3V adapters, which are at the very bottom of this LED’s operating range. We recommend our standard component LEDs with a matching resistor for Department 56 builds.
Wiring
Red wire = positive (+). Black wire = negative (−). Reversing the wires will not damage the LED, but it will not light.
