12V 3mm flickering candle pre-wired LEDs deliver the same realistic random-flame effect as our 5mm flickering candle LEDs in a compact 3mm (T-1) package. A built-in controller IC produces an organic, unpredictable brightness variation that simulates a real candle flame — brightening, dimming, and occasionally dipping low as if stirred by a draft. Each LED ships with a current-limiting resistor soldered inline and 8 inches (20cm) of flexible stranded wire. Connect the red lead to +12V DC and the black lead to ground, and the LED begins its candle simulation immediately. No microcontroller, no programming, no external components.
