The 0606 SMD is a a small LED that flashes automatically at approximately 1.5Hz (90 times a minute) when power is applied. The cool / clear white 0606 LED color is bright and unmistakable.
The 0606 / 0603 SMD LED is actually the same length as an 0603 led (pad to pad), but is twice as wide to accommodate the flashing function of the LED. The LED will begin to flash as soon as you apply power to it. It will flash at a rate of 1.5Hz, which is about 90 times a minute. It will have about a 50/50 duty cycle. If you hook up more than one in parallel they will not flash in sync. They may start off that way, but will quickly get out of sync. The cool / clear white color 0606 LED is a vibrant color that you can't go wrong with.
