Ceramic disc capacitors rated 50V, available from 4.7pF to 6.8nF. Non-polarized — install in either orientation with no polarity concern, suitable for AC or DC circuits.

Common uses:
- High-frequency bypass and decoupling: Ceramic disc caps remain effective at RF frequencies where electrolytic caps lose performance. Place across power supply pins on RF ICs and oscillators. See the full two-capacitor strategy in our decoupling capacitor guide.
- Noise suppression: Wired across relay and motor contacts to absorb voltage spikes and reduce EMI.
- Tuned RF circuits: Small pF values (4.7pF–100pF) are used in tank circuits, crystal oscillator loading, and antenna impedance matching.
- General-purpose bypass: Non-polarized design suits AC signal coupling and filter networks in audio circuits where the picofarad-to-nanofarad range is needed.
